So here is a little taste of the Amsterdam gigs. I DJed on Queen's Day 4.30.09 (that night) @ De Duivel and it went really well. The place was packed, the mood was festive, and they were feeling all the HipHop & Reggae gems!!

Later that week we were asked back to do Saturday 5.9.09. I was humbled by the invite and excited to do it. This time it was all me for the night so we took advantage and went in hard 12 to 4!!!

Colors of the Air Jordan III, V, VI, and XX are less-dominant in this model. The Air Jordan Spiz’ike was designed cooperatively by Sir Tinker Hatfield and Spike Lee, who chose to fuse their favorite models of Air Jordans into one sneaker. This weekend InLiquid brings you its annual Art for The Cash Poor party and art sale. The art sale, now in its 10th year, is a two day event featuring over 100 artists from Philadelphia and the surrounding area. With item prices never going above $199 and most items below $99, art lovers can expand their collections without smashing the piggy bank. Art for the Cash Poor isn’t just an art sale, the event will feature sets from Philly performers DJ DeeJay, DJ Royal T, Illinois, Kings and Comrades, and more.

The sale happens this Saturday and Sunday, from 1pm to 6pm both days, in the Crane Arts building at 1400 N. American St. This is your chance to snag recession priced pieces from your favorite area artists.

While you’re there take the time to check out two Philadelphia artists whose innovative installations are already on display at the Crane. Summer Yates, a 2007 MFA graduate from PAFA, brings us Houston and Bowery, an installation paying homage to our cyclic nature through the transformation of discarded Items. The inspiration for Houston and Bowery come from Yates’ experiences living and working in a post-industrial American city. Also being featured is Nicole Wilson, a senior sculpture major at Temple University. The installation, The Pink Dandelion Project, is a grant funded research project to develop a new breed of Dandelion. Wilson’s goal is to challenge our preconceptions on beauty by making what is not beautiful, beautiful.

For those that don't know, allow me to introduce you to Wale. Born, Sept 24, 1984 in Washington, DC to Nigerian parents. Wale, is heavily influenced by the Go Go and Club sound of the DMV region. Cocaine In Red Bull Cola Is "Harmless" According To Officials

The amount of cocaine found in Red Bull Cola is completely harmless, despite being pulled from store shelves in several states after experts found traces of the narcotic in the drink, the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) said on Tuesday.

“It is absolutely not dangerous for the consumer,” BfR spokesman Thomas Schlicht told The Local. “There is no health threat that could come from the amount of cocaine found in this product.”

Last week, a lab in North Rhine-Westphalia found trace amounts of cocaine in Red Bull Cola. As a result, the state ordered grocery stores to pull the product from the shelves. Soon after, the states of Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Bavaria, Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania followed suit.

According to daily newspaper Berliner Morgenpost, the lab found 0.4 microgrammes of cocaine per litre of Red Bull, and there are just 1,000,000 microgrammes in a gramme.

The trace amounts of cocaine are from the “de-cocainised” coca leaves that are used worldwide in many products as food flavouring.

But a drink cannot be classified as food and needs a special license because it contains a narcotic, daily Frankfurter Neue Presse reported.

In a press release, Red Bull maintained its product follows the strictest food guidelines in the United States and the European Union. But once the states have banned it from grocery shelves, Red Bull has few options in getting the cola back in stores.

“It is still up to the individual state as to whether to ban the product or not,” Schlicht told The Local. “Red Bull either has to change the recipe or accept that the beverage cannot be sold in those states.”

The state of Bavaria, where Red Bull Germany has its headquarters in Munich, has already said that it will conduct its own test on the product before reconsidering the ban, Berliner Morgenpost reported.
